Volunteering

If you are looking for something rewarding to do while you are spending your time in Ajijic and the Lake Chapala area of Mexico then, maybe you would like to get involved with one of the many great projects available.
If you are lucky enough to spend a few weeks, a few months or have decided to make the Lakeside area your permanent home you are well aware of the many wonderful advantages of living here.
The Mexican people have been very good to allow all of us to enjoy this great and affordable way of life and helping them in one of the many areas they are not able to help themselves is great way to say thanks and make a difference in their lives.
Some of the projects available are Animals shelters, special needs schools for Blind or Hearing impaired children, orphanages and Operation Feed.
Anyone of these worthwhile organizations would appreciate your time or if you can't get involved directly even a small donation would be greatly appreciated and remember that in Mexico "a little goes along way".
